Florence painted this original 24" x 36" oil-on-canvas at the request of her daughter who adored the fragrant bunches of purple petals sweetly remembered from her childhood. Florence took her inspiration for Lilacs Overflowing from a bouquet painted originally by Fontana. The painting features a bronze vase overflowing with purple, blue, and white lilacs accented by paper garden roses. Lilacs Overflowing is the centerpiece of any room in which it's displayed.
